What’s the difference between CocoaVia™ products and all the other Epicatechin products?

CocoaVia™ Memory+ is a new product in the CocoaVia™ line that contains 750 mg of cocoa flavanols.  The cocoa flavanols are delivered through Mars’s proprietary Cocoapro® cocoa extract.  These flavanols and the extract itself are clinically proven to improve memory and cognitive function.  Cocoa flavanols are a diverse mixture of flavanols, including (-)-epicatechin (135 mg of naturally-occurring (-)-epicatechin in each 3-capsule serving).  While there are other epicatechin supplements in the market today, CocoaVia™ Memory+ is the only supplement made with the Cocoapro® cocoa extract which is clinically proven and backed by over a decade of cognitive research on cocoa flavanols. 

One of the benefits of the (-)-epicatechin in our proprietary cocoa extract is that it is plant-based. Additionally, we’re one of the few companies that can trace our ingredient back to the farms where our cocoa is produced. Lastly, there are few other plant-based supplements on the market that can guarantee (or will even state) how much (-)-epicatechin is in their product. So ultimately, you may not be able to tell what you’re actually getting in other supplements.
